Re: The project car

Well let's see, 9 months between posts, sounds about right. Lot of stuff going on though so the wait will hopefully have been worth it :D Some backstory: Around February or March we found out that people in our neighborhood are jerks; I had both my cars parked in our driveway and somebody felt the n...

Re: The project car

3d printing would be sweet, I'm looking to do the same because then I can 3d print patterns from scratch instead of having to work with wood, and make molds off those to cast into aluminum. Plus there's a type of 3d printing material you can use that burns off easily, so instead of making a pattern ...

Re: The project car

In keeping with tradition it's been a few months since I posted, but such is life. Had to move a couple months ago on short notice which was stressful, but overall worked out, I finally have the garage all set up and my welder in there instead of out back so I can weld whenever I want. Then I had to...

Re: The project car

Good tip on the rear windows rubbing the stickers off, I'll have to hold off until I get the windshield replace then I guess :/ James stopped by the other week but I was kinda sick and the battery on my M30 was flat so we just shot the shit for an hour or so. It's kinda funny cause he lives like a m...

FREE M30 slushbox (auto transmission)

I'm moving houses and don't really have any reason to hang onto the auto I pulled out of my vert, if anyone in the Austin/central TX area wants it, it's yours; just PM me for directions and stuff. I'll leave this post up a week and if nobody's taken it by then I'll throw it on craigslist.

Re: Rene's M30

Looks really nice, esp. for almost 300k

Hopefully your interior is as nice, both of my M30s's interiors were cooked pretty good by Texas summers and surely it must be way hotter there.

Re: The project car

Worked over the weekend to get the car roadworthy; it fought back but I still emerged victorious. Torque-checked every bolt I could get the torque wrench on to factory specs, I'm going to post a quick reference guide for them in just a bit. The newly repaired power steering line was leaking again, b...
