As you know, some parts are very delicate on the M30 and I also hear from the leopard. The vents and trunk switch button are rarely found intact at the junkyards. At times, even the dealership does not carry.
Sourcing these parts have become mildly difficult. Technology has made it a bit easier. SlappinM30 on these forums has a 3D printing business.

He has invited me to come see 3D printing and come up with ideas. I want to see if we can reproduce some parts like air vents. I will buy a new one and take that apart as reference.
If you have small parts for zenki or kouki leopard, let me know.

The goal is to preserve the F31 and make sure we have a way to make parts. It is Revival!

Re: 3D printing small parts.
It's possible.. but it would take a long time!
The vent itself takes about 1hr.
It is an interesting process and idea.. but I also gotta respect SlappinM30's time and materials too. He's focused on making RC car stuff and this is kinda just an experiment. But if we can produce some and sell them to the community, it would be awesome.

Re: 3D printing small parts.
Lol not the interior to a real car!
I was asking if that unpainted Impala with the little hydraulics is the same model car as the finished red one.
I've tried to put hydros on the same model with interior but the little motor in the trunk didn't have enough power
-or am I wrong and there is no hydraulics, only custom control arms? Lol

Sorry bro! LOL, Mike aka Slappinm30 worked with that low rider group and made those placards for their 1/24 models. It was an example of this work.manche_mane wrote:Lol not the interior to a real car!

Re: 3D printing small parts.
if i have any extra parts i'm willing to ship them to ya so that they can be reproduced or buy them and send them to you for reproduction.
Re: 3D printing small parts.
Just a quick update.
So I'm looking into buy my own printer. Mike's busy with his business and making stuff for RC cars... so I won't bug him to put that aside for my personal needs.
I've been looking at a couple printers, so you can seriously get for $300 to $500... Since I am making small stuff, that is the range I want to buy in.
Some of the options I am looking is the different plastics that can be used. Some PLA, ABS and Nylon mainly. I also want to look at the detail being pretty good as I want to make emblems.
Pretty soon though!
