pics finally... - Mark rebuild

Post by strikevalk » Wed Feb 14, 2007 1:55 am

third M30, what a journey this one has been. missing rear glass, smelt like ass, dirty, rotting, leaves dirt rocks n stuff all inside. towed once, parking tickets, brand x cd player, cupping wheels, battery n stuff all trash. papers all out of date, needed safety check, insurance, registration... after a lot of tlc, here she is. amazingly, even tho it had all those problems, everytime i stick the key in and turn she always starts up and runs strong. still got a long more ways to go but at least she's presentable. sorry for the lack of pics, i'll get more soon during the day time.

Strikevalk.........in all my years as a toyota/lexus tech., I have only replaced ecus on cars that the owners lost their keys (on immobilizer equipped toyota/lexus cars).

It can happen but it usually takes a backwards jump start or someone backprobing the wrong circuit.

What are the symptoms?

Hey Pylon - your post is like 3 months too late? I am sure his car is running again by now.
