Well I am still waiting for it from Ebay, but it isa late model GM. It is a 200 amp(though it was rated at 187 amp) Power Master Wrangler. I couldn't believe it I got it really cheap, so I a skeptical to say the least.

Nice score. I just got my car metered too on the TL. check out my thread.
VERY NICE!!!!! 145.5 is great nice work! Just got to go to a show, try to compete in the I think street ab. It is a car off class but you may do ok, is that DB with the car running or off? It must be a little different because the mic on your car is in the middle of the windshield. At the show I was at it was in the right corner, like 5 inches from the dash and 5 inches from the A piller.
2 personally custom built 15"s ,RF t1500-1bd, Dual alts, duel Aux Batts. Now doing consistent 143+'s with a 2nd and a 3rd in No Wall Db Drag and a 1st in 129.9 Bass Race at the last show.

Thanks brah. The car was running and I was getting 14.2v at idle and it would dip to 12.8v on the heaviest notes.SlappinM30 wrote:ez22 wrote:What alternator did you end up with Slappin? Something GM?

My buddy with the termlab told me to put it in the middle 3 inches from the dash so I just did it there. I am going back in about a month and I am going to do it all officially. I've never done it before / never paid attention to where the mic goes...

I keep the windows clear because the cops trip on lowered cars with tinted window around here. Though I agree tinted windows would look way better, so I may do it any way LOL.

HAHA, I got pulled over last week for the wheels being too wide. Lucky I got off with just a verbal warning because I had a good attitude.Mr. 25/8 wrote:haha i get pulled over by cops all the time. i'm used to it. i got pulled over about 6 times this year. all over bullshit too. all of them warnings. wonder why.....?

LOL I just got pulled the other day, and when He asked me for my license. I ask what I did, he said "Nothing"...LOL What BS!! You are right I may get the tint anyway but I have other things that I am doing first. I just got my new (to me) Aux. Alt. yesterday and got to spend a few hours fabing up brackets to hold it. Hopefully I can have it working in a few days when I have time again.

Where are you mounting the auxilary alternator? Under the A/C compressor? Are you running dual batteries?SlappinM30 wrote:LOL I just got pulled the other day, and when He asked me for my license. Re: SlappinM30"s M
Yes and yes LOL, I am installing it under the Ac pump and I have a Aux. Batt in the trunk. The Aux. Alt. will run just to the rear Batt, Cap. and Sub. Amp.ez22 wrote: Where are you mounting the auxilary alternator? Under the A/C compressor? Are you running dual batteries?
