great pics EZ! i'm in the works of doing all that stuff right now as well, let me know how your camber solution works please, i'd rather just do that than do a s13 subframe swap.

Well I have already done the rear camber mod to my car. It is exactly like doing this:
http://z31.com/mods/suspension/rearcamber.shtml

If I were to do it all over again, I would relocate the mounts completely for the camber and toe adjustment because once you are very low, there is not enough adjustment to my liking.

I cut my slot down really low, so I welded in some washers to take up the slack. Also, remember, if you are doing this mod, make sure the stops you weld in for the eccentric bolt touch the ends of it all the way around. Essentially, you are making the same style of adjustment there is for the toe, to adjust the camber.

Little update. Have everything but the coilovers. Stance LX's are outta stock everywhere. ETA is mid Sept.... guess I am going to wait. Was going to get a set of KW V3's but I think the spring rates are too soft. Then theres no uppermounts. meh. Stoptech z32 slotted rear and front rotors on the way. Everything else is in my possesion, just haven't had the time to install it. Here's the only pics and work I have done so far.

Burning the old stuff

Didn't do the camber mod, dont have a welder...:(

This is how tight the control arm bushings are. Dont know if its good or bad. I'd like to believe good.

Just a little paint...ordered a shit ton of poly bushings for everything (front and rear), havent installed anything yet.

Anyone know what type of diff this is? Either way its going back in, cant find an LSD r200 anywhere.

Another picture showing the case before paint

No. I will hardly use it for drifting, if at all. Just want a nice daily cruiser that handles well and has some power. Besides, it'll be nasty when I try and make u-turns etc.

Thanks. The guy I bought the calipers from painted the pistons too...will they be fine or should I order some? :? I'm thinking it'll be fine with a light sand...

As long as the seals are okay, I wouldn't worry about the paint. Do you have any pictures of the painted calipers?

Well I checked out the seals today and they feel a little hard and brittle. Pistons seem fine, they're just painted. I tried scraping the paint and it just flakes off haha. So I ordered a seal kit for the front and hardware kits for front and rear from Courtesy Nissan. Pins, springs, clips, all seem fine. Heres the part numbers I used.

SEAL KIT-D
Item# 41120-30P26

[41080K] HARDWARE KIT-FRONT DISC BRAKE PAD - 300ZX (Z32) 02/1991+ Non-Turbo & Turbo
Item# 41080-Z32003

[44080K] HARDWARE KIT-REAR DISC BRAKE PAD - 300ZX (Z32) 1990-1996
Item# 44080-Z32001

Now the rear seals look fine, but I can only imagine it being like the front...Only place that I know that stocks the seal kit for the rear is PDM racing for a whopping $88. Thats more than double the price from Courtesy Nissan. Here's a caliper.

I'm getting them painted a different color, I am leaning towards black...

Took apart the z32 calipers today, pistons and all. Going to a powder coating shop real soon. Here they are with all seals, clips, pins, bolts, o-rings, pistons, and grease removed.

Thanks guys. I try my best! No mickey mouse work. Illbill I know what you mean, only difference is my dad nagging at me...Here's a quick re-enactment of yesterday.

Me: Hey dad check out these calipers. What ya think?
Dad: Trash. All Japanese crap. They look cheap. They're probably hollow.
Me: What? I bet you never saw these type of calipers back in your day (He had a 67 camaro rs when he was 21)
Dad: Our stuff was better than all this crap your getting. You are wasting money on something thats not even worth it.
Me: Ok dad. Say what you wanna say, but whenever I'm done with the suspension and brakes, you be the judge and tell me how it feels.
Dad: *Nods his head* Waste of money. If you had a Nova, camaro, mustang, or a cuda, then I would understand. You know, building a real car. Something American. Not all this funky Jap crap.
Me: Gotta work with what I have. Wait till I take my car to Boost Logic and drop a 2jz in it. (self-humor at this point)
Dad: Walks away

Every single time a package comes from UPS, he gives me a small lecture about me saving money and wasting all my earnings into a KNEE SAHN. It's all good though. I get a good laugh out of it. He's never been in a boosted car before, doesnt really know that inline 6's can make decent power.
