BUUUT, I got some good news. Got the passenger door done! Bolted down, this door alone has more output than my whole previous frontstage (Hertz HSK 165 in IB), very pleased. I still need to do something about that primered power window switch.

That sucks my Brother,

I hope you find a window soon, I tried removing one from a car at the junk yard a while back and it was a mother. I actually was not successful at it, it chattered on me. I am curious as to what would be the best approach for removing the window? I do plan on trying again next time I find a donor at the yard.

Good luck

I have never tried removing a rear quarter glass that was still intact with the intention of saving it. I have removed broken quarter glass haha, but I would think you'd have to remove all surrounding trim obviously. Then go inside and use a cold knife, angled knife, or a "pipeknike" to cut the urethane sealant all the way around. Here's a link with more links you might find useful.

I don't know how hard these cars are to find in your area, but I could not find a parts car anywhere around here. There was one at my local junkyard, but the glass was already shattered. I just ordered one off ebay, junkyard wanted $85, ebay is $95 shipped. Expensive, but I don't have to pull any glass.

I used a heat gun and heated the outer portion of the glass to make the sealent not as sticky. Well on my Z at least. Im assuming its not to different.

Damn, sorry to hear about your beautiful M man... I'm glad to hear that nothing was taken. Unfortunately, your M's color doesn't help when it comes to attracting attention, lol. Nice work on the doors!

Thanks, yeah it does gather attention, good and bad. :( I really need to invest in a viper 5901...maybe hook it up to some train horns and some piezo horns inside the car. Bust their eardrums as soon as they enter the cabin lol  0X

That really sucks what happened to your car. Looks like they gave up on the door and broke the glass.

Nothing other than the broken glass, door handle, and bent trim around the window. The inside was left untouched. I assume he tried the door handle first, then after realizing that was an idiot move, he broke the glass, then the alarm went off thus frightening him. He then fled in order to avoid confrontation with a beast. :kamahlitude2:

My window arrives tomorrow. Then I swap out the front rims with some 17x8's or 16x7's. I can't stand how the front rims pop out while the rear are tucking. Also don't want to roll the front since it will look ridiculous with a wider front end imo.

Then I go back to disassemble the rear-end once more to weld on some brackets for rear camber adjustment. Once all the above is done, I order an RB25! Anyone know if the engines off ebay are any good? Anywhere else to get them. I don't care about price, I just want a "Good" engine not some garbage that has internal problems...

I noticed your running a Z32 brake conversion. Are they 32mm or 26mm? I got some z32 calipers for my sentra but I'm thinking of throwing em on the M. Also what rotors did you ise with the z32 calipers, and which front hubs for the 5 lug conversion?

Calipers are 30mm for the 280mm x 30mm Power Slot rotors. Front hubs are from Ichiba with brand new oem wheel bearings. Some links:

The car is still kicking :D I replaced the window the next day but haven't properly fixed the door handle area yet... thinking about it as I get ready to paint my second M30 this coming month. :D

So I recently picked up another M30, same year, only this one is MUCH nicer from the interior. Body is straight, NO cracks on the seats or dash! I got some plans for it as well.. :evilbat: Took some pictures yesterday behind a home depot.
