My RB20 M30.
Picked this car up a few weeks ago. 1990 M30 RB20DET / 5 speed swap. bought it from a friend at work, and he had just bought it a few weeks before me so I don't know much about the history of the car. 5 lug conversion has been done. I think it has R31 front brakes/hubs and z31 rears. I was told about this forum by the guy I bought it from so I figured I would register and try to learn as much as I can about the F31.

Re: My RB20 M30
Thanks for joining the forums! Is this just an amazing coincidence that two M30s have the same exterior color, interior color and same Nardi steering wheel? The only difference I can spot is the different color of the steering wheel hub...

Re: My RB20 M30
from the way that wheel looks I don't think it's removable like the one i have. the hub on mine has a quick disconnect
Re: My RB20 M30
Hey how does it go with the RB20 in it?

Re: My RB20 M30
well I'm currently running 12psi and it pulls strong. I've never driven a stock M30 so i couldn't really compare the 2 cars. It keeps up with my Sti on the highway, but from a stop the AWD of the sti wins. As soon as I get the GT2871R on there and tuned I think it will perform much better. I'll be leaving for England friday and i'll be gone for 2 weeks, but while i'm gone it's going to a friends shop for some body work to fix dents and complete the fenders. then it's getting a full arctic pearl paint job to finish it off. I'll have pics up of the progress and the finished car soon.

Re: My RB20 M30
I know the car came from GA (saw the for sale ad for it on NICO) but i'm actually the third owner since it came to SC. I don't know why this car has changed hands so much, i can't find a single thing wrong with it except the cut springs in the front. I plan on keeping it for a while. found a RB25DET with tranny for $1600 so i'm debating on dropping that in.

That is a clean and sleeper looking M30. Welcome to the club. But then wondering, this M30 looks so much like ChadMK4's old one. Check out this link http://forums.f31club.com/phpBB3/viewto ... f=6&t=2018
