New Member Silver M30, fresh coilover install.

Post by cltcmmder17 » Thu Jul 01, 2010 11:31 pm

Hey there, new member to the site. Well been here a couple months but just now posting up a ride thread. Started with a bone stock '90 M30. So far coilovers, 16s and 1.5 inch spacers installed. I HAVE MANY PICTURES OF COILOVER INSTALL. Have the Megan track coilovers for a S13. Currently my daily drive, when the times comes and I purchase a different DD my future plans for my F31 include building for 400WHP. But that wont be for a couple years at least.

Looks !HOT! brother,

I just picked up a silver 1990 coupe myself to accompany my 1992 black Vert. I am fixing it up very nicely, but it will look stock for a while. I am going to consider a coilover eventually for one of my two rides, I look forward to your coilover pictures in the future.

Later,

No I would say I have a 1-1.25 inches or so to go lower in the back and like umm 1.5-2 inch in the front.

Yea man, if you need pics I can either send em to you or just post them on the thread. I have ~40 pics of the install and a cool little technique for marking drill spots in the rear.

This is the technique I mentioned. Just put alot of marker/paint pen on the stud you need to drill a hole for. Place the assembly up into position with 1 stud in its proper hole and the 2rd stud pressed against the mounting spot.

I see you painted your stock rims... so did I lol.

What spring rates are the coilovers and how does it feel overall?
