I would venture to guess dynasty meant the tires, and not the wheels. But I could be wrong.
yeah, i was really more intrested what the sidewall height was as it is hard to see from the picture. i was thinking about 245/45/17 rear and 225/50/17 fronts but i really dont wanna do a 5 luggie swap, what brakes did you use with a 240sx hub?

I will get some better pictures of the tires soon.

I thought I would share something I found out today. The momo steering wheel hub for the S13 fits our car. I just installed this today.

Dynasty- The brakes are stock and they are smaller than the stock rotors. I plan to upgrade them later.

You can install the battleversion tension rods to the stock m30 arms. You will need to drilll bigger holes in the lower control arms though.

It is the Momo hub adaptor with the last 4 numbers ending in 3508.

If you go to upgrademotoring.com where I bought the hub, it shows that the hub for the 89+ 300zx and 240sx (without Hicas) share the same part number.

I haven't checked the to see if the turn signal cancels yet.

Just an update on my car....

Post by driftday » Fri Aug 19, 2005 10:05 pm

I decided to put an SR20 into my car. So far, with the help of my friend Alex, we have figured out the motor placement and other issue regarding the swap. I owe a lot to the article that was posted in the forum.....

Here is a pic of my car with the motor.....

Sweet jesus, you've done it now.
You must now 5-speed it, and give us write-ups and more pics.

Once you get the car cleaned up, you really really do need to contact an import magazine to get some coverage. Would be nice to get a cover blurb in the top right corner to get a passerbys' attention.

dunno if your done and running yet but.... besides a full write up i thought some ?s would help.

drop right in? any issues? need full write up... not like mine tho that sucked. :colors: stock harness long enough? motor mounts? stock clutch fan? line up with fan shroud? whats that long rubber hose running along the right side? battery in trunk? ic fitment? or fmic?
exhaust fitment? line up with stock? you think a s13 perf radiator would fit without too much trouble?

I am plan to do a write up after I am done with project. I would hate to give information without fully testing the car at a few of my events...

But to answer some of your questions....

Motor mounts had to be custom made. I even bought a sheet of polyurethane to make my own bushing.

The long rubber hose is for the heater core. It still needs to be cut to size and attached to the lines properly...

The reasons why I chose to stick with the stock radiator are to minimize custom mounts and it is also bigger than the stock SR20 radiator. But I did use the SR20 fan shroud. You can make the SR20 radiator fit, but we preferred to minimize extra work.

One thing I thought was cool was the pre drilled holes that were already there for the power steering reservoir.

Surprisingly, the down pipe did line up with the stock exhaust...

 Our Hero! I can't wait to see this writeup! And yeah, you should submit your finished car to a mag like SportsCompact. That would be sweet to see a F31 getting some respect.
