Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
Well even over small bumps the rear goes flying up in the air when I'm going kinda fast, I guess preloading them should work. I'll give it a try. I don't want to roll the fenders because, well frankly I don't know how, and am afraid I'll chip the paint. :( Small chance I'll be in the LA area with th...

And here are some of how it sits now. Mods, sorry for all the posts, I tried doing it all in one post but the text editor screws up and doesn't let me see what I'm typing once I get to a certain level of words... http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/818/picture007mediumq.jpg http://img98.imageshack.us...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
A small review on the Parts by Max s13 Suspension. I have tried the following combinations: Front/Back: 10k/8k: Very stiff, car moves with any bump on the road, I'd say pretty uncomfortable for city driving, but has the best handling of all. 8k/6k: Somewhat softer ride, but suspension travels too mu...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
I went thru 2 (two), yes count them ladies and gentlemen, 2 leaky bm-57's. WTF is this?? First I overpay for one on ebay, $150. Get it, and it is leaking where the bmc meets the booster, guessing bad seals? Well then I order another from O'reillys for $70, turns out it was leaking too. Keep in mind,...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
One other observation which I noticed when I flushed my brake system. Did you check the vaccum line from the booster to the intake manifold? Make sure that the check valve in that line is working properly. Also, the whole line should be clear of any obstructions. My check valve was alright, but a p...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
Well, Discount Tire finally got my rear 235/40/17 size tires in...so I put in some work. It is finally down on the flo and the rears are tuckin a bit. Haven't adjusted the front coilovers yet so there is a 3" gap for now. Tomorrow it goes in for alignment, but what trips me out is what specs are the...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Project
Looks really good! What tire sizes are on the wheels right now? Do you like a lot of wheel stretch on your wheels? Where did you get those brake switch stoppers from? Actually those sizes that I posted are whats actually on there now. I don't like a lot of stretch but wouldn't mind some. I just don...

Thanks striker, and thank you whoever changed the title of the thread! 8) A little update once more. The front 4 lug hubs/spindles were pulled off a 94 s13 with 122k...never expected to see them like this. Unmolested.. http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/9118/img1039y.jpg Replaced with Ichiba 5 lug ...
