Re: The HillBilly's M

I gotta say it, your car looks brute. Wheels set this white coupe off perfectly. Now as my only suggestion as to which I give almost everyone: Tint the bish. I just got a tint ticket. Hey Mr. 25/8, mark your calendar for the JCCS 2011. I wanna see your car in person :D . What? Don't you have ...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Can somebody please change the title of this thread to "Mr. 25/8's M"? This is no longer a showcar. I am running out of stuff to install....in fact I just installed the last part I had. 2 Green brake pedal stoppers. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/9831/img0945rv.jpg Finished my z32 calipers. Haw...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Haha z32 calipers maybe, but I've seen plently people do candy on calipers. Most are high end like Porsche Cayenne turbo 6 pot calipers and such. Thing is I am trying to get this car done but the coilovers I want are OOS everywhere and I am having an extremely difficult time choosing some decent fla...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Before the clear was applied, I had to carefully remove the tape with a blade. Took me a good 45 minutes to get it perfect. http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/4421/img0826gl.jpg Finished! Sitting in my room for a couple of days till everything hardens real good. Will apply all new seals in the front a...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Caliper Update: Well I never took them to get powdercoated. Decided to take em to my uncle so he could work his magic. I prepped everything, he just shot the base, paint, and clear. Leftover paint from when we did my car. Did these outside, came out real nice. Here they are after being sanded down w...

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Thanks guys. I try my best! No mickey mouse work. Illbill I know what you mean, only difference is my dad nagging at me...Here's a quick re-enactment of yesterday. Me: Hey dad check out these calipers. What ya think? Dad: Trash. All Japanese crap. They look cheap. They're probably hollow. Me: What? ...

Took apart the z32 calipers today, pistons and all. Going to a powder coating shop real soon. Here they are with all seals, clips, pins, bolts, o-rings, pistons, and grease removed.

Re: Mr. 25/8 M30 Showcar Project

Well I checked out the seals today and they feel a little hard and brittle. Pistons seem fine, they're just painted. I tried scraping the paint and it just flakes off haha. So I ordered a seal kit for the front and hardware kits for front and rear from Courtesy Nissan. Pins, springs, clips, all seem...

No. I will hardly use it for drifting, if at all. Just want a nice daily cruiser that handles well and has some power. Besides, it'll be nasty when I try and make u-turns etc.
