update 03/10/07
put in a optima redtop today, and a new airfilter. gonna do a tune up and oil change on tuesday at work. got most of my parts for the suspension too, s13 control arms, spindles, inner and outer tie rods, and struts. borrowing a set of s14 coilovers for the rear for now.



update 3/24/07

put in all new suspension today, silkroads from my s13, mr t/c rods, mr tie rod ends, new oem s13 inner tie rods, and half ass pulled and rolled the fender. it was dark when i finished, ill get some better pics tommorow







july/august 07.

my dd civic blew up, so i decided to fix this thing and drive it while i rebuild the civic. found out there was a short causing the fuse to blow, the fuse that supplied power to the auto trans computer. the short was in the abs harness yeah.

so i fixed that, and also removed a bunch of control computers and stock audio crap. also put in a new alternator and got rid of the optima. optimas suck. horribly.

took it to e-town, ran a 17.5, car weighed in at 3543 with me in it and a half tank. im not too upset




9/14/07
got most of my parts together for the auto to manual, custom 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, z32 n/a trans, spl pivot ball, braided line, speed bleeders and shift bushings, new clutch and flywheel. s13 pedal and master, z32 slave.





10/13- more parts.

some dy im gonna start installing some of this stuff.

for the front:
reman steering rack
s14 inner tie rods
spl parts outer tie rods
poly rack bushings
touge factory aluminum steering shaft bushing replacement

i picked up some z32 rear calipers, brembo blank calipers and hawk pads. i dont need them yet, but i couldnt pass for the price. eventually gonna go with the z brakes in front, and 5 lug.

and update for this week, 10/20/07
finally intalled the new rack, and spl tie rod ends. didnt have enough time to do the steering shaft bushing, gonna do that saturday, and install the electric fan i think.

Oh really? I thought those were mounted with waffer cookies .

I know that there is a bracket you can buy that allows you to use the V35 Brembos for other Nissans like the z32, but I have never heard of the SE-R ones being used.

Oh by the way, I demand pics of your Z32 5 speed swap .

v35=g35=350z=z33=you dont need a bracket to put those calipers on, just a drill bit to make the holes on the spindles bigger
